My last day of work!

OK so I am excited and scared but mostly excited. I finally got pictures of my new house and as soon as I get home I will upload them for you guys to look at. I can't wait to get down there and start throwing some paint around. LOL DH is groaning in the background already. But hey it's his fault I am moving so he can suck it! LMAO

Actually I am just ready to be done with this job and at least move forward. I don't know if I will be moving forward in life, work, or school but one way or another I am going to beat this thing.

Belly Dancing Tramp

LAX Diva requested three things for her birthday. 1) a wake board 2) getting her ear cartlidge pierced and a second set of lobe piercings 3) a belly button piercing. Do you notice a theme here! LOL We got the wake board for her because she has been waiting patiently for it for two years and she is old enough and strong enough now to use it. I got her ear cartlidge pierced for her after she promised not to do a gauge (gage ?) but I talked her out of the second set of holes. I told her no one really does that anymore and most people wind up letting them grow up. (Don't laugh she bought it)

So here is my dilema. Daddy D and I disagree on the belly button piercing. He thinks she is too young and I don't! My issue with it is that she just joined a cheer squad and probably wont be able to wear it while cheering. That wouldn't be a huge issue if the team didn't wear midriff tops but they do. Having never done the belly button piercing thing myself I don't know much about them but I do know they take a while to heal especially if they are messed with a lot. I know they make clear ones but I am not sure if you can use them while the piercing is healing or if you have to wait until later. I also think they grow up if you take them out and leave them out for a while?

So what do you guys think? Is she too young at 15? Can she use a clear one while it is healing? Are they slutty or do the represent something I am not smart enough to know about? Seriously, I have a tramp stamp that I never knew was a tramp stamp until years after I got it. I don't want LAX Diva labeled as a belly dancing tramp 10 years from now just because I let her get a piercing without knowing that belly dancing tramps existed. This could get ugly people! LOL

I know if I were 15 and had a body like hers I would want one badly. Unfortunately my body has never looked like hers!

I feel a little funny inside

OK, so things have not been going smoothly lately and I have this knot in my stomach that is telling me bad stuff is going to happen. I don't know why or when and I hope like hell I am wrong but right now I just have an impending feeling of doom! Maybe God will smile down on me and make all this go smoothly! :) Yeah right who am I trying to kid here:)

I just hate this feeling. I am in limbo. I can't do anything at the new house yet and I am done with the old house so I don't want to do anything with it. The kids have a hundred things I need to get ready for their new school year but it just feels wrong buying them now when their current school year just ended today. I mean honestly I should give them at least a small break before making them buy new backpacks right? I want to start house breaking the new puppy the right way my way but I have to wait until Saturday when I don't have to work anymore. I want to decide where the curtains should go in the new house but I just don't have a "feel" for it yet so I need a minute. I can't decide if I want to totally change the "feel" of my house since I have a chance to make a fresh start or if I should be conservative and just stick with what I have.

Holly crap I am indecisive aren't I! See what I mean. I am in limbo and I feel all funny inside because I can't stand it!

I just lost my job!

After 2 years and 8 months I just lost my job! I am so pissed I can't see straight and I think I am going to cry. Did I mention I just bought a house? Did I mention I am moving to an area where 11K new people are moving in the next two months? Did I mention I just lost my job? ARGH!!! What the hell!!!!

For those of you who are going to ask NO I did not get fired I just got told that when I move there is no position available for me to fill. The fact that for the last 8 months I have been told repeatedly that a position will be there and that it is no problem not to worry is making me even more pissed! Seriously who the hell waits until 1 week before someone is due to move to tell them that there are no openings? I am so glad I got tired of waiting for some sort of information on the new position and emailed my big boss to find out. Of course had I not emailed him I would be blissfully unaware of my impending unemployment.

Hell I bet I am not even eligible for unemployment since it isn't the companies fault I am moving. DAMNIT!

I can't believe this shit I have been busting my ass forever for this company and no one even thought it might be a good idea to let me know in advance. What do you want to bet no one ever gave the big boss my final date until I did just now? Sounds just like something my incompetent ass supervisor would do.

DAMNIT! I am so mad right now!

LAX Diva's early birthday

LAX Diva's bday is coming up while we are in the middle of packing and moving so we decided to through a pre-birthday party for her this weekend. She wanted a party at the lake and was allowed to invite 4 friends to come with us for the weekend. Unfortunately when we planned this I forgot it was father's day weekend so only one girl was able to go. I personally think that was a good thing because teenage girls are too much DRAMA when they are all together. Bug stayed home with a friend so the teenagers could "enjoy" themselves without interruption.

Anyway for once we were financially sound and able to get her the wake board she has wanted for the last two years. We were also able to get a new 2 person tube that is much nicer than our old one. We stayed in a hotel on the lake which was definitely econo class but it did the job and was gorgeous at sunset. Daddy D and I took the girls out on the boat for about 3 hours the first night and then went back to the room to chill. The next day we spent the whole day on the water and went all over the lake. The girls refused to use sunblock and got toasted. I love saying I told you so. LOL Daddy D and I used it all day and still got red in spots though so it took a little of the fun out of it.

It was a blast! Even the kids had fun! LOL usually anytime I am having fun they think it is just kinda nice but I honestly think they had a really good time. Of course they spent 3/4 of the weekend on the cell phone texting some girl who was causing them drama. I am so glad we didn't have cell phones when I was a kid. Now there is no separation between feeling something and saying it and kids just text anything and everything to people. When I was a kid I had to wait until the next day at school to talk to anyone about it so I had plenty of time to calm down in between. Not only that but if my mother had heard me say some of the stuff these kids are saying she would have slapped my jaws!

At the lake for the weekend!

I will update you on Monday tonight I am just pooped! We had a blast though

Kids have no idea how much work this shit is!

LAX Diva and Bug honestly think that our lives should revolve around shuttling them from one event to the other. I can't say that I blame them for thinking that because it is what we do most of the time but it isn't what I live for! They also seem to think that juggling everything is simple and therefore not a problem when they decide to add to the list. Everyday it is something new and it is getting old.

Here are my random questions:
Where are the other parents? Do they not have cars? Why am I constantly picking up other peoples kids and chauffeuring them around? Do you really need to go to every event? Is there some sort of conspiracy that is preventing me from getting notified more than 8 hours in advance of school events? Am I alone out here or do other people have this problem?

Here is a sample of every day:
Today at 7AM we had to pick up cookies for a Sundae Party at Bug's school. I was given a total of 24 hours notice on this one so I have no real excuse. LAX Diva's school is apparently getting out early (how did I miss that note) and she wants to go eat and go to the movies with a friend. She doesn't seem to understand why I can't answer YES or NO immediately to this. So at 8AM Daddy D was calling Bug's school to confirm she had a full day of school and then transferring money to LAX Diva's debit card. Now I just have to make sure LAX Diva makes it home in time for Bug to get out of school or Bug will be standing on the curb. Oh yeah the kid LAX Diva is doing this with needs a ride home and may or may not be needing a ride back to our house for a sleep over.

Wanna bet this doesn't work out and becomes another "Mommy Fail."

Patience of Job

Some days I wonder if I have any patience at all. I mean I honestly feel like I am a patient person but at times I just want to throw my hands up in the air and scream at people. Seriously is it that difficult to do your chores or remember that you aren't the only person in the house?

I know I am somewhat anal about my house being picked up and that it is only ever dirty if I am depressed or ill. Having said that I don't ask much from the people who live with me in the way of house cleaning. They are basically just required to pick up after themselves, do laundry on occasion, load and unload the dishwasher, and keep their rooms organized. Now before someone goes all crazy on me lets just say organized means bra's in the bra drawer, hanging clothes on hangers not the floor, and shoes in the closet. My philosophy is if you don't leave it laying there you won't have to listen to me complain about it later. Just put up what you get out and life will be great.

So yesterday I come home and the house smells like finger nail polish remover and I am instantly pissed off. First because I know Bug has it out upstairs without supervision. Second because LAX Diva who is supposed to be watching Bug is on the back porch and probably has no idea what Bug is doing. Third because Daddy D and I both hate the smell of nail polish remover. Fourth I may have been a bit snippy anyway. Fifth I have lost tons of linens and wood furniture to finger nail polish and finger nail polish remover.

I open the dishwasher and guess what the clean dishes are still in it. I look downstairs and clean clothes are piled all over the furniture. I look at the dog bowls and they are empty. I look at my sink and the dirty pots are still in it. Then I look over and see the puppy that is never supposed to be unsupervised eating my carpet!

Unfortunately Job totally stood me up and therefore I lost my patience. I take no credit for this and feel that Job may need to issue me a written apology. Job may also owe one to my kids but hey they screwed up in the first place so I won't hold him to it. Since I am trying to be a better parent I didn't yell I just reminded them that they had better shape up or I would be implementing punishments.

Maybe I owe Job an apology.....I did have enough patience to think about what I said before I said it.

Am I an addict?

I think I am an addict. Webster defines an addict as: to devote or surrender (oneself) to something habitually or obsessively. So I am pretty sure I am an addict and there is no way in hell I am going to go on TV and do something like "The OCD Project." The other problem is I am having a hard time deciding exactly what I am addicted to. I have so many things that I think it is probably best to list them.
1. Glee (watched online because Daddy D hates it)
2. Blogs
3. my favorite online military wife support group
4. Rules of Engagement
6. Groupon
7. Yelp
8. Diet Coke

Honestly I could keep going but then it would just start getting ridiculous and I might lose readers. LOL  As you have noticed several of them are related to the computer. I found out yesterday I may not be able to get DSL in my new home and I honestly thought I was going to fall over in a dead faint. I have had DSL for years people I don't even remember what it is like not to have DSL. OK now I am upset again BREATH BREATH BREATH!!!!!

So my question is should I quit cold turkey or try to wean myself off some of them?

I can do this right?

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

Right now I have so many questions and so few answers. Some of them I want to ask, some of them I have asked, and some of them I am afraid to ask. Seems like I have nothing but questions right now so I am going to ask the World Wide Web and see if I get any random answers back. LOL

First what the heck happened to my blog? People were visiting, I was getting comments, now I am getting nothing. I hope when I changed my background I didn't screw something up. Of course I don't want to ask anyone or they might think I am needy :)

Second why is it so hard for people to just tell you what you need to know? I mean seriously do they think giving me all the information up front will fry my brain? I keep getting about half the information I need on everything.

Third why do people have to make difficult things even more difficult? It is almost like they think if you can't persevere through all their obstacles you don't deserve to make it to the end. Honestly making a life changing decision is difficult enough without people being nasty about it.

Wow that was vague wasn't it? LOL I will leave you all to draw any conclusion you like and see what you guys come up with.

Bariatric Surgery, What could possibly go wrong?

As you all know I have been working on getting bariatric surgery for a few months now. Being uber anal retentive I had my Primary Care Physician put in referals for all the tests and appointments I needed so that I could get started before I actually attended the information session the surgeon gives. I got started on them right away and managed to get almost all of the appointments scheduled by the 15th of June. This was not an easy feat!!! It is slighlty (AHEM) difficult to maneuver your way through the military medical system so I had to be extremeley persistant and stay on them to get it done. Once I got all the appointments scheduled I was terrified something iwas going to go wrong and of course it did.

Right about the time I saw a light at the end of the tunnel I got a message saying I had to have one more appointment. I pulled up my big girl britches and decided not to scream about it. LOL So I called and tried to make the appointment and there was no record of it. After a week of unsuccessful attempts (see I was patient) at scheduling I called the doctor and had her re-enter the referral. I called the appointment line again and there were no appointments available so I was given a referral to an outside provider (civilian clinic). Getting that takes about 72 hours so I waited and called them on Friday. They have no record of it! I called back to the appointment line to check and see if it was actually sent out, well guess what they sent it out but it was un-sent (there word not mine) a few hours later. I get to start all over again!  ARGH!

I am not going to complain too loudly though because I also just found out that the Sleep Apnea exam I thought I was having tonight is actually only the initial appointment so I will have to go back for the actual exam at a later date. Why don't peope explain anything? I mean honestly if I had someone call me to make an initial appointment I think I would tell them what to expect.

For those of you who can tell I am rushing this a bit and being slightly impatient please don't yell too loud. I am moving to another state in two and a half weeks so I am really trying to get all the appointments done. Hopefully if I get them all done they will do the surgery here and then I won't have to start over at a new clinic. These clinics are so picky I would probably have to do all this crap over again!!!

Pool Parties and Puff Paint

Last night we had the end of season pool party for Bug's lacrosse team. They had a semi disapointing season so I really wanted it to be fun but since we are moving I didn't have a ton of extra money to make that happen. I really felt bad I wasn't able to do more for them but I decided I was going to let it go and just pray everyone else did their part. Guess what? For once I didn't go overboard on all the planning and everything worked out perfectly. Now I am not going to admit that to Daddy D or he will just say I told you so and rub it in forever. LOL

Anyway here is the lowdown or down low or whatever people call it these days. Rachel the best lacrosse mom in the world hooked me up with a great pool and provided all the meat and buns for the cookout. SHE ROCKS! Wimpy Ass showed up and pulled off a great craft idea for the girls so I may have to rename her something nice from now on. She had a t-shirt for each of the girls to sign and take home with them and of course they loved it. I brought balloons and a cake with the team photo on it and the girls delighted in trying to eat each others head off the pictures. LOL Top that off with all the parents actually bringing what they said they would and we had a great time. LAX Diva even had a decent time!

So instead of just counting this event a success and not learning from it I am taking stock and trying to be a little less anal about it all. I let Daddy D take Bug to a birthday party this morning and didn't even stress that she took a card with $30 in it!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah I know stupid but that is the kind of thing I would normally freak out about. I mean honestly how lazy are we that we couldn't even get a gift together. Normally I try to clean house on Saturday mornings but since we are getting ready to move I have a cleaning team coming Monday and I decided to just let it slide.

This whole new attitude may just start growing on me!

The Inner Workings of a Teenage Girls Mind

I often ask myself what the hell LAX Diva is thinking....or if she is using her brain at all. Simple things like taking money with you when you know you are going to a movie or remembering to bring your purse full of tampons when you are on your period just seem to be really difficult for her. I don't know if that is common of all teenage girls but I assume it is, unfortunately for my kid when you combine her lack of forthought with her anal rententive nature things get ugly fast.

For instance LAX Diva's boy who is a friend not a boyfriend (yeah I'm not buying it either) had his birthday yesterday. LAX Diva and this boy had planned to meet his mother after school at her job and then go to eat and to the movies. I assumed he was paying because no mention was made of money. Then LAX Diva calls at 630pm and says she has no money for the movie and neither does the boy, can we just drop everything and run it over. Daddy D informed her we had just sat down to eat and that she would have to wait a little bit. LAX Diva of course starts in on the whole "I have to be home by 9pm" and "you are gonna make me be late and then I will get into trouble" crap.  Good thing Daddy D was talking to her I would have told her to stuff it and hung up.

Now on to the daughter seriously thinks they HAVE to be changed every 2 hours. She doesn't seem to understand that the 2 hour thing is a suggestion on the box not a "the heavens will open up and suck out your uterus" rule. Lord forbid we go out shopping and take 2&1/2 hours to get everything done because LAX Diva turns into the devil woman and makes the last 1/2 hour torture for all who cross her path. She begs, she pleads, and then she bitches to get us to drop everything and get her damn tampon. We can be 3/4 of the way through purchasing a new car and she honestly wants us to stop signing the papers and leave to go get a tampon. (disclaimer-I am not horrible she has never, ever, ever leaked through a tampon. I know I do her laundry)

Everything is like this. I don't know how many times I have gotten last minute notice of things. Honestly I have gotten to the point that unless it is going to affect others I just dont listen to her issues. I figure as long as she is the only one suffering because she didn't plan ahead then I am not going to jump through hoops for her. Of course this has it's drawbacks. LAX Diva thinks I don't care about her needs and that I don't love her. WAA WAA WAA The only problem with trying to teach a child responsibilty during their childhood is that they act like children about it! LOL

Larry is driving me nuts today! Who is Larry you ask? He is a the resident computer geek here at work and he is driving me nuts today!!!!!

Larry's wife has a life long illness and has been in a nursing home for years now so he tends to come to the "women folk" around here to discuss things. Granted he knows nothing about "women folk" and what we want to talk about so we humor him. Mainly he discusses sports in way too much detail and makes smart ass comments using movie qoutes. We keep trying to get him to watch chick flicks so we will at least undertand the qoutes but he is all "manly" so he refuses to do it. Poor Larry, I think we have become his surrogate mother because we are constantly nagging him about making sure to do something nice for his wife. I personally think he is just using us to remind him of holidays so he doesn't get in deep doodoo with the real family. We do give him really good ideas for doing things with his sons and stuff!

The reason we love Larry is because he is a computer genius and, well lets just put it nicely, he has so many weird quirks that we just love to poke at him and see what happens next. My favorite part is when he gets aggravated with the "dumb asses" around here. He never gets aggravated with us but Lord help the people who wrote the computer program that just screwed up. Larry's face turns red and he starts huffing and puffing (hehehe I just realized that sounds like the Big Bad Wolf from the Three Little Pigs). I swear people it looks like his head is going to explode. As Larry's surrogate mother I worry because he drinks about 3 coffees a day and probably just as many Monster drinks. One of these days he is just going to kill over with a heart attack!

So you ask why is Larry driving me nuts today? He is bored! He has no work to do and needs someone to talk to. Unfortunately for him I am the only one left here today and I can't hold an intelligent conversation based on the status of the Stanley Cup Championships. I try to make the obligatory comments and ask questions about things to keep the conversation going but usually he just rolls his eyes when I ask him the name of the "cup" his beloved Blackhawks are definitely going to be hoisting up tonight.

Conversations with Daddy D

Daddy D and I have our own special form of communication. I tend to harass him until he breaks down and lets me have my way or dissolves into tears whichever comes first. LOL Normally this only takes a small amount of time unless I am really having to convince him of something extraordinary.

Sometimes we have conversations that aren't based around me getting something. People who know us think I am mean to him but what they don't know is that it is a vital part of our family dynamic. Seriously Daddy D doesn't talk much the only way to get him to talk to me is to harass him until he does. I personally think he loves it!

So I thought I would give you a small sample of how our conversations go.

Me: OOOOH Look at that cute kitty on tv
Daddy D: silence
Me: AAAWWWW she is pregnant and is going to have 3 kittens
Daddy D: Possible grunt but more likely more silence
Me: And look she is white just like Ellie they match
Daddy D: Funny look
Me: We should adopt her and name her Sheba
Daddy D: NO we are not getting another pet
Me: Why not? She just a kitty and we are getting ready to move on to a 1 acre lot with lots of barns around she would be fine and so would her kitties.
Daddy D: No we are not getting a another pet.
Me: But Daddy D
Daddy D: No
Me: Come on why not
Daddy D: No
(this is when it gets really good)
Me: Why do you have to crush all my dreams all you ever say is NO!
Daddy D: NO
Me: But I have wanted a white cat for years and that one needs a home and anyway it can be Bug's cat you know how your cat hates her. Are you really willing to deprive your daughter of the experience of having a cat that likes her just because you only know how to say no?
Daddy D: No
Me: Ok so I will call and see about getting her adopted.
Daddy D: What?
Me: Well you just said you don't want to deprive Bug of having a cat of her own.
Daddy D: No I didn't
Me: Yes you did
Daddy D: silent glare
Daddy D: We are not getting a cat
Daddy D: more silent glare
Me: fine!
Me: walk away giggling and tell him he is cut off for a week for being mean

I hate being Albino Woman!

How the hell do I get a sunburn in the middle of a storm? I mean seriously people I look like a lobster and I know there is no way I got anymore than 15 minutes of full sun all day. I am telling everyone it is a windburn, rain burn, hail burn and denying any possibility that it was related to the sun!

WHY ME! I am the queen of sunscreen due to a skin condition I have and am completely anal about putting it on everyone around me. So how does this happen? I guess I figured full cloud cover was enough to cover my Albino butt. LOL

Wanna read something funny that will completely explain how I feel when I get in the water? Here ya go! Tammy's Rambling

Wimpy Ass strikes again!

I swear I am going to have to take this lady out back and beat her!

Wimpy Ass just sent me another email on how the "nice people" at the fund raising company were "oh so nice" and let her just keep the 300.00 we have in checks. I emailed back and asked her why they thought we had 300.00 in checks when we don't? Wimpy Ass says well I gave them the total off all the checks we collected. I reminded her "AGAIN" that two of those checks totaling 200.00 were written directly to the league and were not to be included in the fund raising total. The parents who wrote those checks specifically wrote them to the league so that all the money went to the league. Wimpy's reply, "OOPS now what do I do?"

ARGHHHHH You are a dumb ass lady!!!! I swear I am going to wind up having to call the fund raising company and straighten all this out. What scares me more than anything-----Wimpy Ass is a middle school teacher!! How in God's name is she teaching the youth of America when she can't even read a simple set of guidelines and remember what is going on?

OK I promise I am going to let it go and this is the last you will hear about her........unless I need bail money for killing her at the pool party this Friday :O LOL

Stupid Stupid Decision

Today we decided to take the girls out on the boat and go to a local crab shack on the water. Daddy D checked the forecast and it said that storm were coming in but that they were a long way away and they were not supposed to show up until late in the day. Of course that is the same forecast we have had for several days now and nothing has happened. Daddy D is THE MAN when it comes to the weather forecast so I took him at his word and off we went.

It took forever to get to the crab shack because our boat is small and the waves were big, but we made it and waited for the really cool shuttle boat to come take us in to the crab shack. I got a funny feeling in my stomach when the shuttle driver told me to put out more line on my anchor because there was a storm coming. We decided it would be a good idea to wait out the storm in the safety of the crab shack. Once the storm appeared to be over we headed back up the river to our launch site and all hell broke out.

We hit wind, then rain, then hail so bad that I felt like I was getting pummeled with shard of glass trying to get us the hell out of there. At one point it got so bad I had the kids get down on the bottom of the boat and cover up with towels to protect their skin. I was scared but I didn't let the kids know that! Daddy D couldn't drive because his glasses were so wet he couldn't see. How I did it I don't know because water was flying up into my eyes so bad I had to wear sunglasses to keep my contacts in.

We made it home and I plan to NEVER EVER EVER EVER do that again! Someone must have been saying a prayer for us today.

Wimpy Women

Wimpy women annoy the hell out of me! Why is it that some women can hold a job, run a household, and raise kids but when it comes time to put your foot down and say enough is enough they just can't do it? Is there some genetic mutation that we carry that makes us physically and mentally unable to put an end to the torment? I only ask because the other team parent (who we will call Wimpy ASS) for Bug's lacrosse team is driving me freaking MAD!

First let me say that I hate fund raising with a passion and nothing you say will make me feel any different about it. So this year for Bug's lacrosse team I volunteered to be a team parent but said I DID NOT want to be the fund raising parent. I was willing to assist and give ideas but I didn't want to be in charge of it or have to keep track of it. Anyway long story short we went with a fundraiser I did last year and had moderate success with. It was the simplest and least expensive with the best chance of bringing in money IF you did it the way they tell you to.

Of course Wimpy ASS did it the wrong way and basically none of the information got out to people. Now it is time to wrap up the finances and turn them in and Wimpy ASS keeps waffling back and forth with the company we worked with. They actually asked her for a bunch of paperwork that was not part of the original deal and instead of saying NO she emailed the parents to supply it. It just makes no sense! The money has to be in by the 15th and she wants to collect paperwork on the 11th. How in the hell she is planning to get the paperwork turned in to the company and get a check back by the 15th I have no idea. WIMPY ASS!

I have been patient with her all season and tried to let her do it herself but I finally decided to step in when I got an email asking for more ridiculous paperwork. So I emailed Wimpy ASS and told her I would supply a bunch of bullshit paperwork, scan it to the company, and tell the company the season was over and we were done. SEND US OUR MONEY! I am tired of playing games and I am tired of Wimpy ASS letting them bully her.

Maybe this bothers me so much because not too long ago I was a Wimpy ASS but for some reason now I just cant stand it! I may be a southern bell but when I talk to people about business I throw that out the window and do what needs to be done. I do my best not to be mean but I make sure I get my point across. Simply put I have learned to stand up for myself!!!! Maybe I should give Wimpy ASS lessons. LOL

No I dont read your blog for the free crap

WOW Am I the only one who gets turned off by a blog that constantly has free giveaways? I mean seriously is it that important that you have people visit every week and try to win something. Not only do you have to visit, you have to tweet, you have to register, and then your have to kiss ass to tell the blogger you did it all like a good little girl. It seems to me that alot of blogs have become more about making money and a name for yourself than about blogging. I just don't get it :(

First let me say sorry it has been a few days my computer was acting up and wouldn't let me in here!

OK so when I started this blog it was in an attempt to find other parents of teens and pre-teens who would tell me I wasn't a complete nutso! I have noticed however that I tend to talk more about my life than my parenting issues. Since I had no intention of talking on and on and on about me (OOPS) at the time it never crossed my mind to focus on me for a blog. So I guess you guys are just going to have to live with hearing about me and the kids! LOL Just to keep your juices flowing I will post weekly updates and DRAMA about them as needed!

See here I am doing it now!

LAX Diva may have to be renamed due to our move. I mean seriously how can I name her after a sport she won’t be able to play after a few weeks. So I am considering Cheer Diva since that appears to be her new favorite thing. Other than boys that is!!!! Maybe I will start a Lacrosse league in the new state and then she would have to go back to LAX Diva. Of course now I am gun shy and I am afraid to nickname her after a sport, what happens if she quits. I don't want to confuse my readers by constantly changing names right? See what just happened I went all nutso over an internet nickname I gave my daughter. This is what I am talking about people!!!!

For some reason parenting LAX Diva is kind of in a holding pattern right now. I guess since I laid down the law she has backed off quite a bit so now I am just waiting for all hell to break lose but enjoying it while it is calm. I can already see her attitude coming back though so I am going to talk with Daddy D about helping me enforce the rules a little better now that we no longer have sports and things interfering nightly. Maybe it is just me but I feel like if I bend in the least little bit with her I wind up paying big time.

Bug just played her last lacrosse game this season and amazed us all when she didn't fall in the middle of the field yelling HALLELUJAH after the game was over. She actually said she was sad that they lost. I don't really believe her though I think she was just trying to sucker me into buying her ice cream. :P Now she is focused on the puppy and driving it insane! LOL I don’t know for sure but I think Ellie is going to give her a run for her money. She's a feisty little ball of fur.

The weird thing is that now Bug is becoming more and more of an issue. She hates the new rules, she constantly has to be reminded to do her chores, and she is getting mouthy! The mouthy part is what scares me because it reminds me of when LAX Diva around this age. I seriously don’t know if I can go through that again so I guess I am going to have to go into full on crack down mode with both of them.

Should be fun at my house right!
